Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

- Drive primary and secondary sales of insecticides, fungicides, bio-stimulants, fertilizers, and other agri-inputs.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and ensure effective territory coverage.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers, dealers, farmers, and agri-influencers.
- Conduct farmer meetings, field demonstrations, and product promotion activities.
- Provide basic agronomy guidance related to crops, pests, diseases, nutrition, and product usage.
- Plan and manage daily beats, market visits, and retail coverage.
- Monitor competitor products, pricing, schemes, launches, and market activities.
- Ensure proper product display, POSM usage, and scheme communication at retail outlets.
- Coordinate with warehouse, accounts, and internal teams for smooth supply and collections.
- Prepare daily market reports, sales forecasts,



and territory updates through mobile apps/Excel.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand the customer/retailer network.
- Ensure compliance with applicable agri-input regulatory requirements.

Candidate Requirements

- Strong knowledge of agriculture, crops, pesticides, fertilizers, and crop protection products.
- Good sales, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and extensively in the field.
- Valuable knowledge of local language and Hindi.
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel, mobile applications, and sales reporting.
- Two-wheeler/car with valid driving license is mandatory.
- Strong territory knowledge and willingness to travel extensively.
