Role Description The Area Manager role at Chaayos is a full time, on-site position based in Lucknow.

The Area

Manager oversees multiple outlets in the city, ensuring operational excellence, consistent customer experience, and adherence to brand standards.

Responsibilities include managing store performance, monitoring sales targets, optimizing staffing and shift planning, and controlling costs at each outlet. The role involves coaching and developing store teams, implementing training plans, and driving service quality and hygiene standards.

The Area

Manager also analyzes performance reports, coordinates local marketing initiatives, addresses customer feedback,



and collaborates with central teams to support new store launches and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

- Experience in multi-store or area management within retail, QSR, hospitality, or similar customer-facing environments.
- Strong people management skills, including team leadership, coaching, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Operational excellence skills such as inventory control, scheduling, cost management, and adherence to SOPs and quality standards.
- Customer service and relationship management skills, with the ability to handle escalations and maintain a guest-centric culture.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret sales and operational data and implement actionable improvements.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams and store leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, retail management, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by store operations.
- Familiarity with basic computer applications and POS systems; experience in fast-growing, organized retail chains is an advantage.
