Role Description The Architect role at Svvayam is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The Architect will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing architectural designs for bespoke pooja rooms, including space planning, material selection, and integration with existing interiors. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed drawings, coordinating with clients to understand requirements, collaborating with manufacturing and construction teams, and ensuring design feasibility and quality standards.

The role also involves overseeing project timelines, resolving design and site issues, and maintaining documentation from concept through completion.



The Architect will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver projects on schedule and within scope.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, space planning, and detailing.
- Candidates should possess experience in Project Management, including scheduling, coordination with vendors and contractors, and overseeing execution on-site.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Integration and basic Software Development concepts where relevant to integrating design workflows, tools, or digital visualization.
- Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and visualization tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent relevant field; professional licensure or registration is a plus.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to translate requirements into practical design solutions.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving capability, and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site workplace.
- Experience in interior design or custom religious/spiritual spaces is an added advantage.
