Job Summary:

An architect is responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of buildings and other structures. Architects create designs that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing, while ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and environmental considerations. They work closely with clients, engineers, contractors, and other professionals to bring architectural concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and Planning:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, budget, and vision for a project.
- Create preliminary design sketches and plans that meet client expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software and other design tools to produce detailed architectural drawings and models.
- Develop conceptual designs and space plans, considering aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.
- Project Management:
- Oversee the project from concept to completion, ensuring it adheres to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.
- Review and approve construction drawings, material selections, and building systems for compliance with the design and regulations.
- Conduct site visits to ensure construction aligns with the design.
- Client Interaction and Communication:
- Meet with clients to discuss their needs and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Present design proposals and revisions to clients, making adjustments based on feedback.
- Provide clients with cost estimates and progress reports.
- Team Collaboration:




- Collaborate with engineers, interior designers, and urban planners to ensure an integrated and cohesive approach to design.
- Supervise and mentor junior architects and design staff.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture (required). Licensure as a Professional Architect (typically required).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in architecture, with experience in design, drafting, and project management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp), 3D modeling, and architectural rendering software.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
- Creativity and problem-solving skills with a strong understanding of design principles and client needs.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, contractors, and colleagues.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to focus on the precision and quality of designs and plans.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions:

- Architects typically work in office settings, but also may visit construction sites.
- Occasional travel may be required to attend client meetings, visit project locations, or attend conferences.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
