As a Development Architect, you will be part of the engineering scrum team building the Outcome Based Business solution, which is part of the Industrial Machinery Components portfolio. Your responsibilities shall be: Be responsible for defining a well aligned and consistent architecture for SAP S/4HANA based applications and services for the Industry Cloud.

Translate business and product requirements into technical requirements, models and software architecture Define the products architecture together with Concept Architect and Scrum team, drive alignment of architecture concept and ensure documentation in architecture concept documents (ACD). Support and advice Product Owner, Chief/Concept Architects and Management by ensuring technical and architectural feasibility, readiness, and compliance Setup collaboration with the developers of the scrum team and contribute to all tasks.

Coach and advise scrum teams on all aspects which have impact on the architecture, review design documents regarding compliance with ACD and relevant product standards Evaluate architecture risks and estimate effort for business case or backlog item, prepare management decisions on these topics

Contribute to the release planning and roadmap definition processes Apply Agile Software Engineering principles and DevOps model for continuous delivery Work with all development process contributors, e.g. Product Owners, Project Management, Scrum Masters, Developers, User Assistance Developer and DevOps to establish and execute a flawless development process

Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Concept Owners / Architects, and Management in decision making and execution Deliver best in class results,

Requirements

- 10-20 years of experience in building software products / components
- Bachelor of Engineering/Technology (BE/BTech), in Computer Science or allied branches, or Masters in Computer Applications
- Worked in global teams, across time zones, with high levels of collaboration
- Expertise in SAP S/4HANA Product Engineering and Application Development
- Sound knowledge in Object Oriented Programming Principles and Software Development
- Expert proficiency in Object Oriented ABAP, UI Frameworks and Web Technologies.
- One Order Framework, CRM WebUI Framework and Fiori
- Exposure in Business Object Layer Programming (BOL), GeniL programming for SAP CRM 7.0, CRM Pricing
- Exposure to SAP Variant Configuration will be very helpful
- Good knowledge of SAP Technology stack, incl. software logistics (transports, ...)
- DevOps model for Continuous Feature Delivery
- Agile Software Engineering methodology like SCRUM, incl. formal methods for effort estimation and test automation
- Goal oriented with good communication skills, and fluency in spoken and written English
- Ability to network across the organization, and exhibit the desire to learn, innovate and explore.
