Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Architect and Interior Designer role based in Dausa, Rajasthan. The Architect and Interior Designer will plan, design, and detail residential and community spaces within agro-community projects, ensuring alignment with sustainable living principles and the company’s design vision.
Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing architectural and interior layouts, selecting materials and finishes, developing mood boards, and creating 3D visualizations or renderings.
The role also involves coordinating with project managers, management, engineers, contractors, and vendors, conducting site visits, and overseeing design implementation to maintain quality and consistency.
The Architect and Interior Designer will collaborate with stakeholders to refine concepts, optimize space utilization, and enhance the overall resident experience through functional, aesthetic, and eco-friendly designs.
Qualifications
- Architectural design and planning skills, including space planning, concept development, and preparation of detailed drawings.
- Interior design capabilities, such as material and finish selection, color and lighting design, and furniture/layout planning.
- Proficiency with design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar CAD and 3D software).
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles, eco-friendly materials, and environmentally responsible construction practices.
Understanding of passive and climate-responsive design, including orientation, daylight, shading, cross-ventilation and thermal comfort.
- Strong project coordination skills, including collaboration with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors.
Strong space-planning and design sensibility.
- Positive understanding of MEP coordination and building services.
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, joinery and construction detailing
- Effective communication and presentation skills to convey design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills are required, as the role involves direct interaction with community members, consultants, vendors and project teams.
- Relevant experience in residential, community, or hospitality projects; experience in nature-integrated or sustainable developments is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Dausa, manage multiple design tasks, and adapt to evolving project requirements.
