Bright Health Alliance (BHA) is a US-focused healthcare Revenue Cycle Management company providing end-to-end medical billing, AR management, denial management, credentialing, and healthcare support services to physicians and healthcare organizations.

We are looking for an experienced AR Caller who can independently handle US healthcare accounts receivable and work closely with insurance payers to resolve outstanding claims and accelerate collections.

Key Responsibilities

- Make outbound calls to US insurance companies regarding outstanding medical claims.
- Follow up on unpaid, underpaid, denied, and rejected claims.
- Verify claim status, payment details, denial reasons, and processing timelines.
- Identify and resolve claim issues related to eligibility, authorization, coding, documentation, timely filing, and payer requirements.
- Contact insurance payer representatives and document call reference numbers and outcomes.
- Initiate reconsiderations, corrected claims, appeals, and other appropriate follow-up actions.
- Review AR aging reports and prioritize accounts based on age, balance, and payer requirements.
- Maintain accurate and detailed notes in the billing system.
- Follow up on pending claims within defined timelines.
- Escalate complex or high-value accounts to the appropriate team member.
- Meet daily productivity and quality targets.




- Maintain confidentiality of patient and client information and follow HIPAA-related requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in US Healthcare AR Calling / Medical Billing.
- Strong understanding of US healthcare insurance and medical billing processes.
- Experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payers.
- Good knowledge of claim status, denials, appeals, EOB/ERA, and AR aging.
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Comfortable communicating with US insurance representatives.
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong documentation and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet daily targets.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS is preferred.
- Experience with medical billing software/EHR systems is an advantage.
