Title: Application Security Engineer (4 – 6 years)

Educational Qualification: BE, B-tech, ME, M-tech, MCA, MSc-Computer Science

Required Experience: 4

to 6 years of hands-on experience in Application Security responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities across our software products and development processes.

Required skills:

- Perform application security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and security testing of desktop, web, cloud, and API-based applications.
- Conduct Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Energetic Application Security Testing (DAST), Software Composition Analysis (SCA), and penetration testing activities.
- Identify, analyze, and prioritize security vulnerabilities, including OWASP, CVEs, CWEs, and dependency-related risks.




- Work closely with development teams to explain vulnerabilities, recommend remediation approaches, and verify fixes.
- Monitor security advisories and assess the impact of newly disclosed vulnerabilities on company products.
- Support Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices and promote secure coding standards across development teams.
- Assist in maintaining SBOMs, vulnerability management processes, and product security documentation.
- Ensure applications comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Evaluate third-party software and open-source components for security risks.
