Meet Our Team This role is part of the Sales Automation(SA) development team and works closely with the Client Advocacy team, giving you a unique blend of meaningful business impact and deep technical depth.
The Client Advocacy Program is intersection of Sales, Marketing, and Technology at Pega. We are building a best-in-class advocacy program from the ground up — designing the advocate lifecycle, streamlining reference workflows, and developing the platform that powers it all. This is a greenfield chance to shape how Pega engages, rewards, and grows its most strategic client relationships.
Picture Yourself At Pega
- You will be the technical backbone of a high-visibility program, building and iterating on Pega-based workflows that directly support Pega’s sales and marketing strategy.
- This is a rare opportunity to build on a greenfield platform — you will design, develop, and own the end-to-end technical implementation across multiple build phases (MLP 1, 2, and 3) through the end of 2026 and beyond.
- You will work in a small, fast-moving team where your decisions have direct impact, collaborating with business leads, legal, finance, and external agency partners to deliver a program that sets the standard for client advocacy at Pega
- At Pega, we actively explore and embrace emerging AI capabilities with curiosity, responsibility, and a drive for meaningful innovation. You will work in an environment where AI‑enabled tools are used to enhance learning, improve engineering efficiency, and support better decision‑making across the cloud platform.
- We expect engineers to apply critical thinking to all AI‑generated outputs—validating accuracy, quality, and relevance before applying them in production environments. We view AI maturity as a spectrum, progressing from foundational adoption toward more strategic, advocacy‑driven integration, and you will play an active role in that journey.
What You'll Do At Pega
- Design and build Pega-based case types, workflows, and automation using Blueprint to support the Client Advocacy Program—including Reference Requests, Advocate Onboarding, Activity Logging, and Pega Points management.
- Own the technical implementation of platform build phases MLP 1, 2, and 3 (August – December 2026), including sprint planning, UAT, go/no-go gate reviews, and post-launch monitoring.
- Lead SA data migration, deduplication, and field standardisation to establish a clean, reliable advocate database ahead of go-live.
- Build test scripts and acceptance criteria; participate in go/no-go decision gates with stakeholders.
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards and KPI tracking to support monthly and quarterly readouts for VP and CMO review.
- Ensure all platform builds comply with GDPR and internal data governance and privacy standards for advocate records.
- Support change management activities alongside the Program Lead — contributing to training materials, adoption communications, and stakeholder office hours.
- Partner with the SA development team on integration architecture, maintaining a dotted-line relationship to ensure alignment with SA standards and roadmap.
Who You Are
- A technically robust platform engineer who is equally comfortable in a discovery workshop and a development sprint — you can translate business goals into platform design and explain technical constraints in plain language to a non-technical team.
- Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity: you thrive in greenfield environments where processes are still being defined and you know when to move forward and when to escalate.
- A collaborative partner who builds trust across teams with different priorities — you can manage a dotted-line relationship with the SA development team while staying aligned to the Client Advocacy team’s goals.
- Detail-oriented about data quality and process design — you understand that clean advocate data is the foundation of effective reference matching and program reporting.
- A clear and confident communicator while collaborating cross-functionally with, including legal, finance, and external agency partners, with poise in stakeholder-facing situations.
- The role sits within the Marketing function so you will become proficient in understanding what marketing needs to achieve and how it interfaces with all parts of the organization.
- You demonstrate a strong Growth Mindset—embracing curiosity, continuous learning, and adaptability in a fast‑changing technology environment. You are comfortable speaking about AI with confidence and conviction, and you view AI as an enabler to improve outcomes rather than a substitute for sound engineering principles.
- You challenge assumptions, learn quickly from change, and apply critical thinking to validate outputs and make informed decisions. You bring a thoughtful,
quality‑driven approach to your work and actively contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What You've Accomplished We're looking for someone with a genuine curiosity about how AI can enhance the way they work. You'll be encouraged to explore and experiment with AI-powered tools as part of your day-to-day, including Pega Blueprint, our AI-assisted application design platform. Whether you're streamlining a process or approaching a problem in a current way, an open and experimental mindset will serve you well in this team.
