Job Title: Application Cybersecurity Specialist

About Business line/Function: ITG-CDF is a unique community to identify, assess, and mitigate the vulnerabilities and exposures introduced by external vendors, suppliers, and partners.

Position Purpose: The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting periodic application security reviews and managing the end-to-end vulnerability remediation lifecycle. This role serves as a critical link between technical security teams and business application owners, ensuring that identified risks are communicated effectively and mitigated in alignment with organizational standards.

Responsibilities Direct Responsibilities

- Security Assessment & Risk Management: Execute periodic application security reviews, applying core principles of risk management, vulnerability management, and the CIA triad (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability).
- Vulnerability Lifecycle Management: Analyze security scan reports and intrusion test results to assist in developing and overseeing remediation plans for non-compliances and vulnerabilities.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between application owners and penetration testing teams to optimize testing workflows and translate complex technical findings for diverse stakeholders.
- Compliance & Governance: Maintain strong oversight of IT security governance and management practices.

Contributing Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute comprehensive risk reports and management information to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of Operational Resilience Dashboards and manage the publication of key KPIs.

Technical Competencies

- Functional Skills
- Strong Practical knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, DORA, ISO 27001, or NIST.
- Proficient in GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), IT risk analysis, cyber resilience, and business continuity planning.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, network protocols, and security production systems.
- Technical Skills
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure, network protocols, and security production systems.
- Required experience with Risk Management tools.
- Highly advantageous: Proficiency in Power-BI, ServiceNow, or JIRA.
