Role & responsibilities

- API Design &
- Proxy Development:

Design, build, and configure scalable RESTful API proxies, shared flows, custom policies, and extensions on Google Apigee (Edge / Apigee X) platforms.

- API Security &

- Authentication:

Implement enterprise-grade API security controls, token management, and authentication mechanisms, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, mTLS, API Keys, and SSL/TLS certificate management.

- Integrations &

- Banking Workflows:

Collaborate with backend engineering teams to execute complex API integrations, microservices communication, and financial/banking system integrations.

- Custom Scripting &

- Logic:

Write server-side scripts using JavaScript, Node.js, or Python to extend Apigee proxy functionality, request/response transformations, and mediation flows.

- Traffic &

- Lifecycle Management:

Configure traffic management policies (Quotas, Spike Arrest, Caching, Rate Limiting), define OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, and manage the end-to-end API lifecycle.

- Deployment &

- CI/CD Pipelines:

Maintain automated CI/CD build and deployment pipelines for API proxies across Dev, QA,



and Production environments using Git, GCP, and Kubernetes.

Preferred candidate profile

- Experience: 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in IT, with at least 3 years dedicated to Google Apigee (Apigee Edge / Apigee X) development.

- Core Technical Expertise:

- API Management: Strong hands-on experience with Google Apigee, API proxy configuration, shared flows, and policy implementation.

- API Architecture: Deep expertise in REST APIs, Microservices, and OpenAPI / Swagger specifications.

- Security Protocols: Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, and mTLS.

- Programming &
- Scripting:

Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, or Python for mediation and API logic.

- Cloud &

- DevOps:

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Git, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Docker, and Kubernetes.

- Domain Preference: Prior experience in Banking, Fintech, or complex Enterprise API integrations is highly preferred.

- Work Mode &

- Location:

Full time Work From Office (WFO) in Jaipur (5.5 Days a week, with alternate Saturdays off).
