About the Role

We are seeking a skilled API Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in designing,

developing, and managing APIs on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Azure integration services, REST APIs, API security, and

Azure API Management (APIM). Experience working on BFSI projects involving secure integrations and enterprise-grade APIs is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

 Design, develop, deploy, and maintain secure RESTful APIs using Azure services.

 Build and manage APIs using Azure API Management (APIM).

 Develop serverless integrations using Azure Functions.

 Implement authentication and authorization using Azure Active Directory

(Azure AD).

 Secure application secrets, certificates, and keys using Azure Key Vault.

 Create and maintain OpenAPI (Swagger) specifications and API documentation.

 Design scalable and reusable integration architectures for enterprise applications.

 Implement API monitoring, logging, diagnostics, and performance optimization.

 Collaborate with business analysts, developers, QA teams, and solution architects to deliver integration solutions.

 Troubleshoot API issues and optimize application performance.

 Ensure APIs comply with BFSI security, governance, and compliance standards.

Required Skills

 Strong experience with Azure Functions

 Hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM)





 Expertise in REST API design and development

 Experience creating and maintaining OpenAPI (Swagger) Specifications

 Knowledge of Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) Authentication

 Experience with Azure Key Vault

 Understanding of Integration Architecture and API best practices

 Experience in Monitoring & Logging using Azure Monitor, Application

Insights, or Log Analytics

 Strong understanding of API security concepts (OAuth 2.0, JWT, API

Gateway, Authentication & Authorization)

 Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps is an advantage

Preferred Qualifications

 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

 Exposure to Azure DevOps and Agile methodologies.

 Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and cloud-native application development.

 Microsoft Azure certifications are an added advantage.

Mandatory Requirements

 2–3 years of experience in API development and Azure Integration.

 Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services.

 Experience in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance) domain.

 Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

 Available to join immediately or within a short notice period is preferred.
