Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer with 5+ years of hands-on expertise, Location - Bangalore in building high-performance native Android applications. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Java, Kotlin, RxJava, and modern Android development practices, with strong knowledge of networking, multithreading, offline storage, REST APIs, and Android performance optimization. The role requires ownership of end-to-end feature development while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable mobile applications.

Mandatory Skills

- 3–5 years of experience in Native Android Development
- Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin
- Hands-on experience with RxJava and contemporary Android technologies
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
- Experience with RESTful API integration
- Hands-on experience with offline storage databases (SQLite/Room or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of Multithreading and asynchronous programming
- Experience with Networking and backend service integration
- Proficiency in Android Studio performance profiling and memory management tools
- Strong understanding of Material Design principles and Android UI guidelines
- Experience implementing Push Notifications and Cloud Messaging APIs
- Proficiency with Git or other version control systems
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and deployment environments




- Hands-on experience writing Android Studio Test Cases
- Strong foundation in Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) and logical reasoning

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Jetpack libraries and Android Architecture Components
- Knowledge of MVVM or Clean Architecture
- Experience optimizing application performance and memory usage
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks for Android
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Experience publishing or maintaining applications on the Google Play Store

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop advanced native Android applications using Java and Kotlin
- Build high-quality, scalable, and responsive mobile features
- Collaborate with product, backend, QA, and design teams to define and deliver new functionality
- Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services into Android applications
- Optimize application performance, memory usage, and responsiveness using Android Studio tools
- Implement offline storage, networking, multithreading, and push notification capabilities
- Identify bottlenecks, debug issues, and maintain high code quality standards
- Write robust unit and instrumentation test cases for Android applications
- Participate in CI/CD workflows and version-controlled development practices
- Take ownership of technical implementations and contribute to successful project delivery
