Amazon’s Corporate Network Automation Engineering team is looking for a Network Systems Development Engineer to build and scale automation for thousands of network devices across Amazon’s global network.

What you’ll work on

- Build network automation using Python and AWS technologies
- Automate network configuration, deployment, and OS upgrades
- Design scalable, secure, and highly available systems
- Work with AWS VPC, Transit Gateway, Lambda, CloudWatch and other AWS networking services
- Build solutions that reduce manual effort and enable more self-healing infrastructure
- Collaborate with Software, Systems, Network, and Security Engineers

What we’re looking for

- 3+ years of relevant experience in software/network automation or large-scale infrastructure




- Strong programming experience in Python or another modern programming language
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with AWS/networking automation is a robust plus
