Educational Qualification And Other Requirements

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications/ Journalism/ Development Communication / Media Studies or other relevant fields

Minimum 2 years professional experience in reporting, documentation, communication and fund raising

Key Responsibilities

Develop/utilize/maintain templates for capturing all organizational activities

Responsible for collecting data points, analysing and generating various project reports

Design & develop community level surveys & coordination of data collection, compilation as well as analysis

Undertake field visits to support implementation of the Management Information System(MIS) and identify gaps and provide solutions





Ensure report & findings are communicated effectively through close collaboration with project team

Other required documentation relate duties Key Responsibilities as Documentation Manager

Responsible for content collection, collation and compilation for all periodical publications

Content development for brochures, flyers, marketing materials, website etc.

Need based English/ Hindi content development/translation

Preparing announcements, press releases, presentations, technical documentation etc.

Developing proposals by coordinating with concerned departments in the organization

Handling social media platforms

Other required communication related duties

Prepare annual fund raising plan

Identify and communicate with the potential donor

Build long-term relationships with potential donors

Maintain relationships with existing donor

Develop and submit proposal for raising fund to potential donors

About Ajagar Social Circle Ajagar Social Circle is the initiative of eight like-minded young practitioners, to bring about a change in social economic culture,



support low income segment and increasing the livelihood opportunities of the people in north eastern region of the country. The organization at present is engaged in a number of activities that are clearly demarcated and collectively aims to provide social and economic security to the farming, allied and non-farming community living in the Assam-Meghalaya belt of the North eastern region.

As a grassroots organization, ASC has enriched with the working experience in various sector. Livelihood promotion is the core thematic area where organization has been working since its inception. Beside this, Education, Skill development and Relief and Rehabilitation are also another sector, organization is presently working.

From its inception, ASC has able to earn a valuable reputation among the doner/funder, communities and the government authorities. Organization has been working in various sectors. Livelihood promotion, health & nutrition, training & capacity building, WASH, Relief & Rehabilitation, education are the few of them.

During this span of time, organization has mobilized fund from various reputed donors/funders like NABARD, NEDFi, WORLD BANK, TATA TRUST, NRTT, FORD FOUNDATION and the Government institution like Goalpara District Administration, PWD, PHE etc.

Presently, organization is working in the very remote part of North East Region. Mainly Goalpara and Dhubri, aspirational District of Assam and Chirang district under BTAD. The communities, working with, are belongs from vulnerable communities like ST (Rabha), ST(Bodo), SC (Sutradhar) etc.
