Role Description The AI Workforce Transformation Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for designing and implementing AI-driven workforce strategies that enhance operational efficiency, safety, and productivity across manufacturing, warehousing, sales, and support functions. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing current workflows, identifying opportunities for AI and automation integration, and developing roadmaps for process digitization and workforce upskilling.
The Manager will collaborate with leadership, HR, IT, and operations teams to pilot and scale AI solutions, oversee change management, and ensure smooth adoption by employees through training and communication programs. The role also involves monitoring performance metrics, managing vendor and technology partnerships,
and ensuring that all AI initiatives align with business objectives, data security, and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in AI strategy, workforce transformation, and change management, including experience designing and executing digital or AI adoption initiatives in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in process analysis, data-driven decision-making, and performance measurement, with the ability to map workflows, define KPIs, and translate operational needs into AI use cases.
- Candidates should possess skills in stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and communication, with the ability to work effectively with leadership, HR, IT, and frontline teams.
- Candidates should possess skills in project management and implementation, including planning, prioritization, risk management, and vendor or technology partner coordination.
- Candidates should possess skills in training design and facilitation, with experience in developing learning programs, upskilling plans, and practical adoption support for diverse employee groups.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, business, information systems, data science, or a related field, along with experience in AI, digital transformation, or industrial automation.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with steel or heavy manufacturing operations, knowledge of AI tools and automation platforms, understanding of data governance and security, and a strong focus on ethical, inclusive workforce
