ABOUT THE ROLE

Mavit Digital is looking for a skilled AI Video Editor to join our creative team. We work with a diverse client base across B2B and F&B; industries, so you'll be editing everything from polished corporate/product videos to fast-paced social content for food and beverage brands- often using AI-assisted workflows to speed up production without compromising quality.

ROLES and RESPONSIBILTIES

- Edit and produce video content across a wide range of formats- reels, YouTube shorts, ad creatives, brand films, testimonials, and long-form corporate videos
- Use AI tools to accelerate editing workflows: auto-captioning, AI voiceovers, background/object removal, upscaling, B-roll generation, and AI-assisted color grading
- Adapt tone, pacing, and style to match each client's brand identity- switching comfortably between formal B2B content and high-energy F&B;/social content
- Work closely with the creative and content planning teams to translate briefs and scripts into finished videos




- Repurpose raw shoot footage into multiple short-form pieces optimized for different platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn)
- Handle sound design, background music selection, and basic motion graphics/text animations
- Manage multiple client projects simultaneously and meet delivery deadlines
- Maintain organized project files, version control, and a consistent editing style guide per client
- Stay updated on emerging AI video tools and bring new techniques into the team's workflow
- Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently while maintaining output quality

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and rhythm in edits
- Solid understanding of color grading and audio/sound design basics
- Ability to create simple motion graphics and text animations
- Comfort working with AI-generated or AI-enhanced footage alongside traditional shot footage
- Platform-specific editing knowledge (aspect ratios, hooks, retention patterns for Reels/Shorts vs. long-form YouTube/corporate videos)
- Ability to manage multiple briefs and tight turnarounds without compromising quality
- Good communication skills to collaborate with creative and account teams

Tools & Software (proficiency expected)

Editing:

- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- DaVinci Resolve

AI Video Tools (any combination):

- Envato (stock footage, templates, music/audio library)
- Freepik / Magnific (AI upscaling, image enhancement, stock assets)
- Higgsfield (AI video generation/creative effects)
- ElevenLabs (AI voice generation/cloning)
- VEED (AI-assisted editing, auto-captioning, subtitles)
- Epidemic Sound (royalty-free music/SFX library)

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional video editing experience
- Prior experience in a digital marketing agency strongly preferred
