We are a fast-growing fashion company operating across D2C, marketplaces and offline retail. As we scale, technology and data are becoming increasingly key to how we operate.

We are looking for an AI Solutions Engineer who can turn business problems into working technology, quickly.

The Role

We are looking for a builder .

Someone who understands coding and software development, but has also figured out how to use the new generation of AI development tools to build significantly faster.

You should be comfortable using tools such as Claude Code, Lovable, Emergent and other AI coding platforms to go from an idea or business requirement to a working internal application, dashboard or automation.

A large part of your role will be understanding how different teams at Indian Garage operate, identifying their problems and building technology to solve them.

What You'll Build

You will build internal technology and data products across the organisation, including:

● Management dashboards

● Sales dashboards

● D2C performance dashboards

● Marketplace dashboards

● Inventory dashboards

● Marketing dashboards

● Merchandising and category dashboards

● Business intelligence tools

● Internal applications

● Workflow automation tools

● AI-powered internal tools

● Reporting and alerting systems The objective is to make important company data easier to access, understand and act on.

What You'll Do1. Build Internal Applications

Understand business requirements and convert them into functional internal tools.

Use traditional development as well as AI-assisted development platforms to rapidly prototype, build and deploy applications.

You should be comfortable taking something from:

Problem → Requirement → Prototype → Working Product → Iteration

- Build Company Dashboards A major part of this role will be building a strong internal business intelligence layer for Indian Garage.

You will work with stakeholders across departments to understand:





● What decisions they make

● What data they need

● Which KPIs matter

● Where that data currently exists

● How it should be visualised

● What actions should come from the data

You will then build dashboards that make this information simple and actionable.

- Connect Data

Our data exists across multiple systems.

You should be comfortable understanding and working with:

● APIs

● Databases

● SQL

● Excel / Google Sheets

● E-commerce platforms

● Marketing platforms

● ERP / inventory systems

● Marketplace data

● Internal databases

You will help bring these different data sources together to create a reliable view of the business.

- Build With AI

We don't want someone who uses AI only to generate snippets of code. We want someone who understands how to build with AI .

You should actively use tools such as:

● Claude Code

● Lovable

● Emergent

● Cursor

● GitHub Copilot

● Other AI development and agentic coding tools

You should know when AI can accelerate development and when traditional engineering is required.

- Understand the Business

This is extremely important.

You don't need to come from fashion, but you should be curious about how businesses work.

If someone asks for a "sales dashboard", you shouldn't immediately start coding. You should first ask:

What decision are we trying to make with this dashboard?

You should be able to understand business requirements and translate them into technology.

What We're Looking For

● 2 to 5 years of experience in software development, technology, data or a similar role

● Strong coding fundamentals

● Hands-on experience building web applications

● Strong understanding of APIs and databases

● Good knowledge of SQL

● Comfortable working with structured and unstructured data

● Experience building dashboards or business intelligence tools

● Experience with modern AI coding tools





● Ability to rapidly prototype applications

● Understanding of frontend and backend development

● Ability to integrate multiple data sources

● Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

● Ability to independently take projects from idea to deployment

Experience with platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, Metabase or similar BI tools is a plus.

You can turn an idea into a prototype quickly, put it in front of users, collect feedback and improve it.

Within your first year, we want Indian Garage to have a strong internal technology and intelligence layer where leadership and teams can access the information they need without depending on multiple spreadsheets and manual reports.

Instead of teams spending hours:

Downloading → Copying → Cleaning → Combining → Reporting

Your job is to help build that system.
