- Define and execute the AI roadmap for Strategic Sourcing

- Integrate AI with enterprise systems (SAP, Qlik, 3DX, PLM)
- Lead end-to-end AI product development (Python + React + Cloud)

? What We’re Looking For

- 5–8 years in AI/ML, Analytics or Digital Transformation
- Strong experience in:
- Machine Learning, NLP, Generative AI & LLMs
- LangChain, RAG, Vector DBs, Prompt Engineering
- Hands-on with:
- Python, FastAPI, React, Cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP)
- MLOps, Microservices, API integrations
- Exposure to procurement / manufacturing / supply chain is a strong plus
- Ability to translate business problems into scalable AI solutions

? Role Summary

Mahindra & Mahindra is looking for a high-impact, business-driven AI & ML Lead to spearhead next-generation AI transformation within the Strategic Sourcing & Purchasing domain.

This role will serve as a critical bridge between business and technology, translating procurement, supplier management, and cost optimization needs into scalable AI/ML solutions and enterprise-grade digital applications.

? Key Responsibilities

1. AI & ML Strategy for Strategic Sourcing

- Partner with Purchasing, Commodity Teams, Supplier Quality, and Cost Engineering to identify high-impact AI opportunities
- Map and optimize end-to-end procurement processes, including:
- RFQ management
- Supplier evaluation
- Spend analytics
- Cost optimization
- Contract analytics
- Demand forecasting
- Supplier risk monitoring
- Procurement automation
- Define and drive the AI roadmap aligned with enterprise digital strategy
- Develop scalable AI frameworks and reusable components

2. AI/ML Solution Development

- Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven applications for sourcing functions
- Build predictive, prescriptive, and generative AI solutions using enterprise data
- Develop AI copilots and intelligent assistants for procurement teams
- Implement:
- NLP models
- Recommendation systems
- Forecasting models
- Supplier intelligence engines
- Semantic search systems
- Document intelligence solutions
- GenAI workflows
- Deliver AI-powered dashboards and insights platforms

3. LLM & Generative AI

- Architect enterprise-grade LLM and GenAI applications
- Build RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) frameworks using enterprise datasets
- Fine-tune and optimize LLMs for procurement use cases
- Integrate AI copilots into core sourcing workflows
- Establish:
- Prompt engineering frameworks
- AI governance standards
- Evaluate GenAI ecosystems (open-source & commercial)
- Ensure Responsible AI (security, compliance, governance)

4. Enterprise Systems Integration

- Lead integration with enterprise platforms:
- SAP S/4HANA
- Qlik SaaS
- 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX)
- PLM systems
- Supplier portals
- Internal analytics platforms
- Design API-driven architectures and middleware integrations
- Collaborate with IT, Data Engineering, and Cloud teams
- Ensure scalability, security, and reliability

5. Full Stack & Application Development

- Lead development of AI-enabled applications and user interfaces
- Build front-end interfaces using React
- Develop backend AI services using Python
- Implement:
- Microservices architecture
- Cloud-native systems
- DevOps & MLOps practices

6. Stakeholder & Team Leadership

- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders and leadership teams




- Conduct workshops to identify AI/automation opportunities
- Mentor data scientists, AI engineers, and analysts
- Drive vendor evaluations and ecosystem partnerships

? Qualifications

? Education

- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in:
- Computer Science
- Artificial Intelligence
- Data Science
- Information Technology
- Engineering or related fields
- Preferred:
- MBA (Supply Chain / Analytics / AI)

? Experience

- 5–8 years in AI/ML, analytics, or digital transformation
- Experience in automotive, manufacturing, procurement, or supply chain preferred
- Proven track record in enterprise AI solution delivery
