Role Description The AI Implementation Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for identifying opportunities to integrate AI and automation into structural engineering design, drafting, and BIM workflows, and for leading end-to-end implementation of these solutions.

Daily activities include collaborating with engineering, drafting, and BIM teams to map processes, gather requirements, and translate them into AI use cases; coordinating with software and data specialists to develop, test, and deploy AI tools; and monitoring performance, adoption, and ROI of implemented solutions. The AI Implementation Lead will create documentation, train team members on new tools,



ensure alignment with industry standards and client expectations, and continuously refine solutions based on user feedback and project outcomes.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of structural engineering workflows, including design, drafting, and BIM processes, preferably across precast, steel, PEMB, and reinforced concrete projects.
- Experience with AI, machine learning, or automation tools applied to engineering, CAD/BIM, or similar technical domains (e.g., rule-based systems, predictive models, design optimization).
- Proficiency in data analysis and process mapping, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and implementation plans.
- Familiarity with BIM and drafting platforms such as Revit, Tekla, AutoCAD, or similar, and an understanding of how AI can enhance their use.
- Demonstrated skills in project management, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration to lead implementation initiatives from concept through deployment.
- Ability to develop training materials, conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, and support change management for teams adopting new AI tools.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
- Prior experience in a consulting, engineering services, or global delivery workplace is an advantage, as is familiarity with international codes such as ACI, BS, AISC,
