Job Role: AI Governance Specialist

Work Location: Remote (India)

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days

We are looking for an experienced Senior AI Engineer (Lead Role) with a strong background in software, data, ML, or AI engineering.

Key Requirements:

- 8–10+ years of experience in technology governance, AI governance, data governance, model governance, risk management, compliance, or related domains.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated industries, with understanding of enterprise governance, regulatory compliance, technology risk, privacy, security, audit readiness, and control documentation.
- Practical experience developing or implementing governance frameworks, policies, standards, procedures, controls, approval workflows, inventories, and lifecycle oversight processes.
- Knowledge of AI, machine learning, generative AI, agentic AI, model lifecycle, responsible AI, AI testing, guardrails, monitoring, and AI risk assessment practices.
- Preferred experience establishing AI governance programs in large enterprises and supporting regulatory engagements, audits, compliance reviews, model governance, or responsible AI frameworks.
- Experience supporting AI regulatory compliance across multiple countries or jurisdictions would be highly beneficial, including the ability to interpret local regulatory expectations and align them to enterprise AI governance controls.




- Familiarity with AI lifecycle platforms, monitoring solutions, dashboards, and governance reporting tools is preferred.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of AI governance frameworks, responsible AI principles, AI lifecycle oversight, governance documentation, control design, and approval processes.
- Working knowledge of applicable AI regulatory and standards frameworks, including CBUAE AI/ML and enabling technology guidelines, NIST AI Risk Management Framework, EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001, and related privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, model risk, and consumer protection expectations.
- Ability to translate regulatory and standards requirements into practical governance controls, evidence requirements, assessment criteria, reporting obligations, and lifecycle review checkpoints.
- Ability to assess AI use cases across business value, risk, compliance, privacy, security, explainability, fairness, ethical impact, robustness, safety, transparency, and human oversight.
- Working knowledge of banking regulations, model risk, data protection, information security, technology risk, compliance evidence, audit readiness, and mitigation tracking.
- Ability to maintain AI inventories, risk ratings, approval records, monitoring obligations, review schedules, decision logs, action trackers, and governance artifacts.
- Strong reporting and communication skills, including preparation of dashboards, committee packs, approval recommendations, management information, and executive summaries.
- Robust stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work across business, technology, risk, compliance, legal, security, model risk, data protection, audit, AI Council, and governance committees.
