About the Role

We are looking for an AI Software Engineer Intern who is passionate about building real-world software products using modern engineering practices and Generative AI capabilities. This is a hands-on internship for candidates who want to work across frontend, backend, databases, APIs, cloud deployments, and AI-enabled software development. You will work closely with engineering leadership and contribute to production-oriented systems while learning how high-quality software is designed, built, reviewed, shipped, and maintained.

At the end of the internship, high-performing candidates may be considered for a full-time conversion prospect.

Responsibilities

- Building frontend applications using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Developing backend services and REST APIs using Node.js, Express.js, TypeScript, or Python
- Working with databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL-based databases, and MongoDB
- Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Using Git and GitHub for source control, collaboration, pull requests, and code reviews
- Exploring Generative AI tools and applying AI-assisted development practices
- Supporting cloud-based deployments on platforms such as Azure or GCP




- Collaborating with a highly technical engineering team on product features and internal tools

Qualifications

- Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Strong fundamentals in at least one or more programming languages
- Basic-to-good understanding of JavaScript
- Strong willingness to learn TypeScript, Node.js, React, SQL, and modern AI tools
- Good understanding of programming fundamentals, data structures, debugging, and problem-solving
- Basic understanding of Git and GitHub
- Ability to learn fast, ask good questions, and work with ownership

Required Skills

- Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React
- Backend: Node.js, Express.js, Python, FastAPI, REST APIs
- Databases: Strong SQL Skills
- Cloud: Azure or GCP
- Engineering Practices: Git, GitHub, code reviews, debugging, API design
- AI / GenAI: Experience using AI coding tools, LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or AI-powered product features
