Roles and Responsibilities:

- Design and build AI agents and agentic workflows for conversational experiences, including tool use and multi-step reasoning flows.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines: data preparation, indexing, retrieval, and response generation with quality controls.
- Develop and integrate backend services and APIs that connect LLM/agent components with external systems and data sources.
- Structure and prepare data for AI agent consumption, including chunking, metadata strategy, and retrieval relevance tuning.
- Optimize agent behavior through tool design, prompt/data interfaces, evaluation, and iterative improvements for reliability and performance.

Skills Required:





- 7 - 10 years of relevant experience in AI engineering and building production LLM/agent systems.
- API development and integration for LLM/agent services (REST-style APIs and service endpoints).
- Generative AI engineering with robust LLM fundamentals.
- Agentic AI and agentic workflows, including tool design and behavior shaping.
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) expertise: end-to-end pipeline implementation and tuning.

Good to Have:
- JavaScript development experience.
- TypeScript experience.
- Cognigy certification and/or project experience.
- Backend / API / Full-Stack development experience.

Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
