About the Role:
Our client is seeking a seasoned and business-oriented HR leader to support the Chief People Officer (CPO) in driving people strategy across a multi-location manufacturing organization. This is a strategic succession planning role requiring a mature HR qualified who can partner with business leaders, strengthen HR operations, ensure legal and statutory compliance, and help scale the HR function as the organization grows.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the CPO to drive the organization's people strategy and HR excellence.
- Lead and strengthen end-to-end HR across talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning & development, compensation & benefits, and HR operations.
- Ensure robust statutory compliance, labour law adherence, industrial relations, and HR governance across units.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team while driving consistency in HR practices across the units.
- Drive HR analytics, workforce planning,
productivity metrics, dashboards, and data-driven decision-making to support business objectives.
- Champion the adoption of technology, AI tools, and automation to enhance HR effectiveness and employee experience.
- Partner with business leaders to support organizational growth, transformation initiatives, and succession planning.
- Travel regularly across manufacturing units to provide strategic HR leadership and operational support.
Requirements:
- 17–18 years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in large manufacturing organizations.
- Proven experience managing HR for a workforce of 3,000–4,000+ employees preferably across multiple manufacturing locations.
- Strong expertise in labour laws, statutory compliance, industrial relations, and HR governance.
- Technically oriented, preferably with an Engineering background followed by HR specialization, or significant technical exposure gained through manufacturing environments.
- Strong analytical mindset with expertise in HR metrics, Excel, dashboards, and data-driven decision-making.
- AI-savvy and technology-oriented, with the ability to leverage digital HR tools and automation.
- Mature, agile, commercially aware leader with excellent stakeholder management and team leadership capabilities.
- Comfortable with frequent travel across units in India.
