Position Senior Overseas Education Counsellor

We are seeking an experienced, student-centric, and results-driven professional to guide aspiring students through their overseas education journey. The ideal candidate will possess excellent counselling skills, strong destination knowledge, and a passion for helping students make informed academic and career decisions while contributing to the growth of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

● Counsel students and parents on overseas education opportunities, career pathways, universities, courses, scholarships, and study destinations.

● Assess students' academic background, interests, career goals, and financial profile to recommend suitable study options.

● Guide students in selecting the right country, university, and programme aligned with their aspirations.

● Advise students on admission requirements, scholarships, tuition fees, living costs, visa regulations, and post-study work opportunities.

● Manage student enquiries through regular follow-ups and deliver an exceptional counselling experience from enquiry to enrolment.

● Build long-term relationships with students and parents through ethical, professional, and student-focused counselling.

● Represent partner universities by effectively communicating their programmes, admission requirements, scholarships,



and unique strengths.

● Stay updated on global education trends, university policies, immigration regulations, and scholarship opportunities.

● Maintain accurate counselling records and enquiry progress through the CRM system.

● Achieve individual counselling targets while contributing to team performance and business growth. ● Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless student experience.

Desired Candidate Profile

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline.

● 3–8 years of experience in overseas education counselling.

● Strong knowledge of study destinations including the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, and other major international destinations.

● Excellent counselling, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.

● Strong understanding of international education systems, admissions processes, scholarships, and student visa requirements.

● Ability to build trust, understand student aspirations, and recommend appropriate academic pathways.

● Target-oriented with a proven track record in student conversion and enrolment.

● Passionate about mentoring students and delivering an exceptional counselling experience.
