About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and driven Admission Counsellor – Team Lead to head the counselling team at Rao IIT & Medical. The role involves guiding a team of Admission Counsellors, driving admission targets, and ensuring a smooth, student-centric enrolment experience for aspirants and parents.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Admission Counsellors to achieve monthly and seasonal admission targets
- Counsel prospective students and parents on courses, batches, fee structures and career pathways (IIT-JEE / NEET / Foundation programs)
- Monitor daily lead flow, follow-ups, and conversion ratios; ensure timely closure of admissions
- Train new counsellors on pitch, objection handling, and CRM/lead management tools
- Prepare and present daily/weekly/monthly admission MIS reports to management
- Coordinate with the marketing team on lead quality and campaign feedback




- Handle escalations and ensure high standards of parent/student satisfaction
- Ensure adherence to admission processes, documentation, and fee collection protocols
- Conduct counselling sessions, seminars, and campus visits as required

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate (any stream); MBA/PGDM preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in admissions/education counselling, with at least 1 year in a team lead or supervisory capacity
- Prior experience in the education/coaching industry (JEE/NEET/K-12) strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English, Hindi, Marathi preferred)
- Robust target orientation and team management ability
- Proficiency in MS Excel/CRM tools for reporting and lead tracking
- Confident, presentable, and persuasive personality

Compensation To be finalized based on experience level

Working Days

6 days/week, with rotational off]

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
