Position: Adjunct Faculty – Business Communication (English)

Role Overview

Amity University Patna is looking for an experienced and dynamic Adjunct Faculty – Business Communication (English) to deliver engaging, industry-oriented courses that enhance students’ professional communication, language proficiency, and employability skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver undergraduate/postgraduate courses in Business Communication, Skilled English, and related areas.
- Develop engaging lesson plans, course materials, presentations, and assessment strategies.
- Train students in verbal, written, interpersonal, and professional communication skills.
- Conduct activities such as presentations, group discussions, debates, role plays, interviews, and business writing exercises.
- Mentor students to improve their confidence, public speaking, workplace communication, and employability skills.
- Incorporate innovative and technology-enabled teaching methodologies.
- Evaluate student performance through assignments, presentations, examinations, and other assessments.
- Participate in seminars, workshops, guest lectures, FDPs, and other academic activities.




- Contribute to curriculum enhancement in line with industry and professional communication requirements.

Eligibility & Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in English / English Literature / Linguistics / Communication / Applied Linguistics / related discipline from a recognized university.
- Candidates with Ph.D. in English, Communication, Linguistics, or related areas will be preferred.
- Relevant teaching/training experience in Business Communication, Professional English, Soft Skills, or Corporate Communication.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, mentoring, and classroom management skills.
- Industry professionals with substantial experience in corporate communication, training, content development, or related fields may also be considered.
