Actuarial Reserving - IFRS 17 - P&C; Insurance - 3+ Years - Gurgaon

Exciting opportunity for Actuarial professionals with 3+ years of experience in P&C; Reserving, IFRS 17, Regulatory Reporting, and Actuarial Analytics. The role involves working on reserving analyses, actuarial modeling, financial reporting, process transformation initiatives, and advanced reserving techniques across multiple Property & Casualty lines of business.

Location - Gurugram.

Responsibilities -

1. Support quarterly and annual loss reserve analyses using actuarial best practices such as Chain Ladder, Bornhuetter-Ferguson, Expected Loss Ratio, Cape Cod, Berquist Sherman, and Frequency/Severity methods.
2. Contribute to reserving transformation initiatives, including modernization of actuarial processes and tools.
3. Identify opportunities to improve reserving accuracy, efficiency, and governance.
4. Prepare and analyze loss development patterns, trends, tail factors, and large loss activities.
5. Identify emerging issues and explain reserve movements, variability, and key drivers.
6. Maintain reserving datasets and support automated analytical workflows.

Requirements -

1. Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Actuarial Sciences.
2. Affiliation with IAI, IFOA, CAS, or SOA with 2+ actuarial exams cleared.
3. 3+ years of experience in P&C; Reserving and Regulatory Filings.
4. Strong understanding of General Insurance domain and P&C; actuarial concepts.
5.



Experience with Solvency II, IFRS 4, IFRS 17, and/or GAAP reporting is preferred.
6. Hands-on experience with reserving tools such as ResQ, ReservePro, Arius, or similar platforms.
