Role Description This on-site role in Hyderabad combines responsibilities as an Accounts Receivable (AR) Caller and Home Health Coder. On a day-to-day basis, the AR Caller will contact insurance companies or payers to follow up on outstanding claims, clarify denials, secure payment commitments, and document all interactions in the billing or practice management system.

The Home Health

Coder will review clinical documentation, assign accurate medical codes for home health services, ensure compliance with payer and regulatory guidelines, and collaborate with clinical and billing teams to resolve discrepancies.



The role requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of coding standards, reimbursement rules, and payer policies, while meeting productivity and quality benchmarks. The position involves working closely with cross-functional teams, handling sensitive patient information responsibly, and supporting continuous improvement in revenue cycle and documentation accuracy.

Qualifications

- Coding expertise including Medical Coding and practical Coding Experience relevant to home health or similar care settings.
- Background in Health Information Management and familiarity with RHIT or equivalent credentials.
- Strong understanding of Medical Terminology and clinical documentation used in home health and related specialties.
- Experience in accounts receivable calling, insurance follow-up, denial management, and basic revenue cycle processes.
- Ability to interpret payer guidelines, apply coding and billing rules accurately, and work with EHR/billing systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with a professional phone manner and the ability to collaborate with clinical and billing teams.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage time and workload to meet performance targets.
- Relevant certification in medical coding or health information (e.g., CPC, CCS, RHIT) and prior experience in home health coding are preferred.
