Key Responsibilities

1. Domestic Depot Accounting & Audits

- Oversee and streamline day-to-day accounting operations for all depots across India.
- Perform regular physical visits to depots for inventory verification, cash/bank audits, and process review.
- Conduct periodic internal audits of depot accounts to ensure policy compliance and identify financial variances or control gaps.
- Reconcile depot stock registers, sales reports, and petty cash statements with central books.

2. Foreign Branch & Subsidiary Accounting

- Record, verify, and maintain accounting for foreign branch expenses.
- Review accounting entries, general ledgers, and financial reports for overseas subsidiaries in Oman and Dubai.
- Ensure inter-company transactions and balances between head office, foreign branches, and subsidiaries are regularly reconciled.

3. Foreign Payments & Remittances

- Process international payments for foreign Sales & Marketing expenses.
- Calculate, verify, and process foreign commission payments to overseas sales agents accurately.
- Manage documentation required for foreign outward remittances (e.g., A2 forms, tax certificates, bank documentation).

4. Banking & Treasury Support

- Handle day-to-day liaison with banks for foreign remittances, trade finance, account operations, and query resolution.




- Prepare and maintain regular Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) for both local and foreign currency bank accounts.

5. Month-End Closure & Audit Coordination

- Support timely month-end and year-end books closure for assigned operational areas.
- Prepare necessary audit schedules, balance sheet reconciliations, and expense provisions.
- Coordinate directly with internal and statutory auditors during audit cycles for depot and foreign branch operations.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelors degree in Commerce / Finance (B.Com), M.Com, or CA /CMA Inter.
- Experience: 8-10 years of relevant hands-on accounting experience (experience in multi-location depot accounting or cross-border/foreign accounting is highly preferred).

- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in ERP accounting software (e.g., SAP, Tally Prime, or Oracle).
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, financial formulas).
- Understanding of foreign payment procedures and basic statutory requirements.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel periodically across India for depot visits and internal audits.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical abilities, high attention to detail, valuable bank-liaison skills, and effective communication skills.
