: Accounts Executive (Inventory, Costing & Buyer Profitability)

Job Summary The Accounts Executive manages inventory valuation, monitors leather and hardware costing, and tracks buyer profitability. This role ensures precise factory stock accounting, minimizes leather wastage financial impacts, and ensures production costs align with target profit margins. [1]

Key Responsibilities:

Material Costing & Pricing

- Compute standard costs for leather, lining, and hardware.
- Analyze consumption variances between sample bills of materials (BOM) and actual production.
- Review cutting yield reports to price leather wastage accurately.
- Verify supplier invoices for raw hides and chemical treatments. [1]

Inventory Control & Valuation

- Reconcile physical leather rolls, hardware, and finished goods stock monthly.
- Track work-in-progress (WIP) batches through cutting, stitching, and finishing stages.
- Calculate monthly inventory valuation using FIFO
- Identify and report slow-moving leather skins or obsolete hardware.

Buyer Profitability Analysis





- Track total production and shipping costs per buyer order.
- Analyze profit margins for specific export or domestic buyers.
- Highlight orders failing to meet target factory margins.
- Detail air-freight or penalty costs impacting buyer profitability.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

- Maintain accurate inventory ledgers in the ERP system.
- Prepare monthly Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) statements.
- Assist during annual statutory and physical inventory audits.
- Assist other Financial Reporting .

Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.with Cost (Inter) OR Cost Accountant .
- Experience: 4–6 years in manufacturing, preferably leather goods , footwear, apparel.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems ( Tally, ICS Inventory software )) and advanced MS Excel.
- Core Competencies: Robust understanding of BOM, material variance analysis, and factory cost tracking. [1, 2]

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
