Role Overview
We are seeking an Accounting person with strong expertise in Ind AS accounting, preparation of financial statements for corporate entities, and hands-on experience in statutory audits under Ind AS. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to work closely with auditors and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review Ind AScompliant financial statements for corporate entities, including standalone and consolidated financials
- Ensure accurate application and implementation of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)
- Lead and manage statutory audits conducted under Ind AS, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors
- Prepare audit schedules, resolve audit queries, and ensure timely closure of audits
- Review accounting policies, notes to accounts, and disclosures as per statutory requirements
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Analyze financial results and provide meaningful insights to management
- Mentor and supervise junior team members to ensure quality and timely deliverables
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as tax, legal, and business teams
- Assist in implementation of new accounting standards and process improvements
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- CA Fresher with strong knowledge in accounting and financial reporting
- Strong hands-on experience in Ind AS accounting and reporting
- Prior experience in preparing financial statements of corporate entities
- Proven experience in conducting or handling statutory audits under Ind AS
- Experience working with Big 4 or reputed audit/consulting firms is preferred
Technical Skills
- Expert knowledge of Ind AS and Indian statutory requirements
- Strong understanding of audit processes and documentation
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally / similar)
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting tools
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Attention to detail and strong ownership mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
