Fiducia Accounting Services Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant with 1+ year of relevant experience to join our growing accounting team in Mohali.

The role involves handling day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities for UK-based clients, including reconciliations, AP/AR, VAT support, and preparation of financial information. Shift Timing: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities for UK-based clients.
- Record and maintain financial transactions accurately in accounting software.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
- Maintain general ledgers, journals, and supporting accounting documentation.
- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Support the preparation of VAT returns and related workings.
- Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities.
- Review transactions and identify discrepancies, missing information, or errors.
- Work on accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
- Coordinate with Senior Accountants to resolve accounting queries and complete assigned tasks within deadlines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
- Follow internal accounting processes and quality standards.
- Escalate accounting issues and discrepancies to the Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager.
- Support process improvement and automation initiatives where required.





Requirements
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Basic understanding of UK accounting practices and VAT.
- Working knowledge of Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or other accounting software.
- Good understanding of bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, AP/AR, and basic financial reporting.
- Valuable working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of UK accounting and VAT requirements.

Terms & Conditions
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
- 5 working days per week, including 2 compulsory weekend days.
- The position is fully on-site at our Mohali office.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in a UK accounting environment and supporting UK-based clients.
