Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Ahmedabad. The Accountant will manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities, including posting journal entries, maintaining ledgers, and preparing client financial statements.

Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, performing bank and account reconciliations, and supporting month-end close processes. The role also involves assisting with tax preparation, documentation, and compliance activities for US and Australian clients, as well as responding to client queries and providing explicit financial reports.



The Accountant will collaborate with team members to ensure accurate data, timely deliverables, and adherence to internal controls and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in core accounting functions, including journal entries, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
- Candidates should possess skills in accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of taxation concepts and compliance requirements, preferably with exposure to US or Australian tax and regulatory frameworks.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, cloud-based accounting platforms, and Excel).
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team and with clients.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in outsourcing, shared services, or working with international clients in real estate or SME sectors is beneficial.
