Role Description The Accountant role at Pansare Constructions - India is a full-time, remote position responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations. Typical tasks include maintaining accurate books of accounts, processing invoices, tracking expenses, and managing accounts payable and receivable. The role involves preparing financial statements, assisting with budgeting and cost control for construction projects, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations.

The Accountant will reconcile bank statements, support audits, and collaborate with project and management teams to provide financial insights and reports. The position requires consistent documentation, timely reporting,



and secure handling of financial data while working independently in a remote environment.

Qualifications

- Robust knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
- Experience with accounting software and MS Excel, including data analysis, reconciliations, and spreadsheet modeling.
- Ability to manage accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Understanding of budgeting, cost control, and project-based accounting, preferably within construction or infrastructure sectors.
- Familiarity with Indian taxation, compliance requirements, and audit support processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote, full-time setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; qualified certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Previous experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance role; experience in construction or project-based organizations is preferred.
