SVL Studio Private Limited is a Mumbai-based luxury hand embroidery and garment export atelier, shipping zardozi, aari work, and beaded embroidery to fashion houses across Europe, the USA, and the Middle East. We are a lean, founder-led company — this role owns the entire accounting function, not a slice of it.
We need a hands-on Accountant to take full ownership of bookkeeping, GST/TDS compliance, export finance, payroll statutory filings, and ROC compliance for our private limited company. Reports directly to the Director. No intermediate layer.
What you'll own
- Books of accounts (Ind-AS, Tally Prime), monthly P&L;/balance sheet/cash flow, job-costing per style
- GST: GSTR-1/3B/9/9C, ITC reconciliation, LUT-based zero-rated export supplies
- TDS: 194C/H/I/192/J/Q, quarterly 24Q/26Q returns, Form 16/16A, advance tax, company ITR-6
- Export finance: FOB invoicing, RODTEP, FIRC/BRC, FEMA realisation timelines
- Payroll: EPF, ESIC, Professional Tax, statutory registers
- MCA/ROC: MGT-7, AOC-4, DIR-3 KYC
- Using tools like ClearTax, Tally Connected Banking, and AI assistants (Claude/ChatGPT)
to speed up compliance work — always reviewed before filing
Who we're looking for
- B.Com/M.Com; CA Inter cleared mandatory, CA Final preferred
- 2-5 years in a private limited company (not a CA firm/consultancy)
- Tally Prime proficiency mandatory
- Export accounting experience (LUT, RODTEP, FIRC, FEMA) is a robust advantage
- Someone who treats a statutory due date as non-negotiable and flags problems before being asked
Compensation: ₹3-6.5 LPA based on qualification — CA Inter with export experience at ₹3.5-4.5 LPA, CA Final/Qualified CA at ₹5.5-6.5 LPA. EPF, ESIC, and health insurance included.
