JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage end-to-end Finance and Accounting activities. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in general accounting, financial reporting, month-end closing, statutory compliance, taxation, audit coordination, and management reporting.

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely reporting, supporting regulatory compliance, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Experience in MNCs, multinational environments, shared service centres, GCCs, or organisations handling international finance operations will be an added advantage.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage day-to-day Finance and Accounting activities and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Handle General Ledger accounting, journal entries, accruals, adjustments and account reconciliations.
- Manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities and ensure timely completion of financial closing.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reports.
- Ensure financial records and accounting entries are accurate and maintained in accordance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Review General Ledger accounts and conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies, unusual transactions and accounting issues.
- Investigate accounting discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and internal reporting requirements.




- Handle taxation and compliance activities including GST, TDS, income tax, corporate tax, e-invoicing and other applicable requirements.
- Prepare and submit relevant financial, tax and statutory reports within prescribed timelines.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, company secretaries and other external stakeholders.
- Provide necessary documents, reconciliations, schedules and explanations during audits.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for accounting, tax and audit purposes.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of internal controls around accounting and financial processes.
- Ensure accounting processes comply with company policies, regulatory requirements and audit standards.
- Assist the Finance team with accounting-related technical matters, process improvements and ad hoc projects.
- Support management with accurate financial information and analysis as required.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting.
- Strong hands-on experience in general accounting and end-to-end accounting functions.
- Good knowledge of General Ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals and financial closing.




- Experience in financial reporting and preparation of financial statements.
- Practical knowledge of taxation and statutory compliance.
- Experience coordinating with auditors, tax consultants, banks and other external stakeholders.
- Good understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.
- ACCA, CA, CMA or equivalent professional qualification will be an added advantage.
- Experience working with ERP or accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Tally or similar platforms.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Candidates with experience in MNCs, GCCs, Shared Service Centres or international finance environments will be preferred.
- Exposure to APAC or international accounting operations will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive and self-motivated approach.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per month
