Role Description The Academic Advisor role at Hero Vired is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi, Noida and Dehradun.

The Academic

Advisor will guide learners through their educational journey by providing academic and career advising, helping them select appropriate programs and courses aligned with their goals. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one student counseling sessions, monitoring student progress, addressing academic concerns, and recommending resources to support learner success. The role also involves collaborating with faculty and program teams to ensure academic policies and curriculum are clearly communicated,



and organizing informational sessions or workshops that support student development.

The Academic

Advisor will maintain accurate records of advising interactions and contribute to continuous improvement of advising processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to support learners in their academic and skilled decision-making.
- Candidates should possess effective Academic Advising and Education-related skills to guide students through program requirements and learning pathways.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to explain complex information in an accessible manner.
- Relevant experience in academic advising, career services, or student support within higher education or professional training environments is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is preferred.
- Robust organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple students and tasks simultaneously are advantageous.
- Demonstrated empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a learner-centric mindset will be highly valued.
