We are currently hiring for the position of Applied AI / Multimodal AI Engineer and are looking for immediate joiners with expertise in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, NLP, OCR, and Vision-Language Models (VLMs).

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end Machine Learning, Computer Vision, NLP, and Multimodal AI solutions using contemporary open-source technologies.
- Build AI pipelines for:
- OCR and document understanding
- Image attribute extraction
- Image enhancement
- Image generation
- Multilingual language processing
- Develop automated model evaluation frameworks using metrics such as:
- OCR CER/WER
- Attribute F1 Score
- Hallucination Rate
- Regression Testing
- Perform benchmarking, error analysis, model calibration, and optimization to continuously improve AI model performance.
- Optimize models for accuracy, scalability, latency, and cost across cloud and edge environments using:
- Threshold tuning
- Calibration
- Ensembling
- Post-processing techniques
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Engineers,



and cross-functional teams to evaluate emerging AI technologies and deliver production-ready AI solutions.

Mandatory Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Applied Machine Learning, Computer Vision, NLP, or Multimodal AI.
- Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Hands-on experience with OCR technologies:
- DocTR
- PaddleOCR
- TrOCR
- Experience working with Vision-Language Models (VLMs):
- Grounding DINO
- OWL-ViT
- CLIP
- Experience with multilingual AI models:
- IndicTrans2
- NLLB
- IndicWhisper
- Strong expertise in model evaluation, benchmarking, regression testing, error analysis, model optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Git, Docker, REST APIs, and deployment of AI/ML solutions in production environments.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of MLOps and model monitoring frameworks.
- Experience with scalable AI system design and deployment.
