Join a group of highly talented and motivated engineers with significant healthcare experience to help a thriving Healthcare function. You will be part of a team that will be modernizing and optimizing a legacy product to be efficiently run in a cloud-based environment. Partner with internal business, product and technical teams to analyze requirements to deliver solutions to complex issues.
Participate in development and oversee maintenance of code to ensure consistency, quality, best practices and performance of applications.
What you will do
Major Responsibilities/Activities
- You will be part of a team of hands-on engineers working to continuously improve our software development and release processes along with improving system stability, monitoring and reliability
- You will work closely with software engineering, information security, production support, and infrastructure teams
- Manage and support automated (CI/CD) continuous integration - continuous deployment infrastructure.
- Participate in the on-call rotation providing escalation support for our platform including overseeing changes to the software and underlying infrastructure
- Work with Development, Quality Assurance, and Infrastructure teams to write, support, and review existing tools and provide designs for automation of repeatable testing exercises
- Promote automation and focus on eliminating manual steps wherever possible.
- Analyze and resolve configuration and performance issues in development, test, and production environments.
What you will bring
- 7+ years of experience managing Windows Server based infrastructure
- Experience in large scale server system operations
- Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills (.NET/CORE, SQL Server, Angular)
- Demonstrable skills in utilizing scripting languages like PowerShell
- SQL Server query design and optimization
- Full understanding Microsoft Office products, Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio
- 5+ years of .NET Windows Services, Web Service, Website development and design expertise for high-volume, low-latency processing software utilizing C# and .NET CORE.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle, continuous integration/continuous delivery and full understanding of the software repository and deployment tools Azure Dev Ops and Azure Pipelines
- Hands on experience working with SQL Server
- Experience using Jira
- 3+ years developing software utilizing the SAFe Development Methodology
- Understanding of EDI (835,837i, 837p, 999, etc.)
What we would like to see
- Minimum bachelor’s degree and experience in healthcare software.
- C++ Experience
- 3+ years of experience utilizing Healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) ASC X12 standards 835, 837, 999
- Experience working with a healthcare-based systems
