About the Role
We are looking for an experienced
Associate Vice President – Finance
to manage strategic finance operations, client relationships, financial reporting, and decision-support activities for US-based clients.
The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in
US GAAP, revenue recognition, financial reporting, budgeting & forecasting, internal controls, cash flow management, audit coordination, and international stakeholder management .
This is a strategic and client-facing role requiring
excellent communication skills
and the ability to work effectively with senior leadership and international stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
Oversee financial reporting and ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting policies.
Apply strong knowledge of
US GAAP and revenue recognition principles .
Review financial statements and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management, CFOs, and client leadership.
Strategic Analysis & Decision Support
Analyze financial data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Support senior leadership in strategic decision-making.
Provide financial recommendations aligned with business objectives.
Partner with CFOs, senior management, and board-level stakeholders as required.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Review budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Identify variances and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Support financial planning aligned with organizational and client objectives.
Internal Controls & Compliance
Ensure effective financial controls and compliance frameworks.
Monitor adherence to legal, accounting, and debt covenant requirements.
Identify control gaps and support implementation of appropriate corrective measures.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
Assess cash flow requirements and liquidity strategies.
Support optimization of working capital and cash management.
Maintain and manage effective banking relationships.
Audit Management
Coordinate internal and external audit activities.
Review audit findings and ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
Work with relevant teams to strengthen financial processes and controls.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Manage relationships with
US and international stakeholders .
Act as a strategic finance partner for client leadership teams.
Communicate financial insights clearly to senior stakeholders.
Collaborate with India and US teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Financial Systems & Shared Services
Work with ERP and financial management systems to improve operational efficiency.
Collaborate with shared services teams to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing.
Drive process improvements across finance operations.

12–18 years of overall experience
in Finance & Accounting.
CA with 8–14 years of experience , or equivalent professional qualification; OR
B.Com / MBA with 12–18 years of experience .
Experience in senior finance leadership roles such as:
Global Controller
Senior Manager – Finance & Accounting
Financial Consultant working with senior leadership
Strong experience working with
US-based clients/stakeholders
is preferred.
Experience managing strategic finance operations and client-facing responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
CA / MBA / ICWA / CMA
Experience with US GAAP and US financial operations.
US Visa is
good to have .
Experience working with international clients, preferably US and Europe.
