· Plan and execute land acquisition strategies aligned with mine expansion and production targets
· Liaise with government authorities for notifications, approvals, and possession processes
· Monitor progress against acquisition milestones and resolve bottlenecks proactively
· Maintain a pipeline of land parcels to avoid operational disruptions
Statutory Compliance & Clearances
(Ensure full compliance with all legal, regulatory, and statutory requirements related to land.)
· Track and implement applicable land laws, policies, and amendments
· Coordinate for required clearances (forest, workplace, revenue, etc.)
· Ensure proper documentation, record-keeping, and audit readiness
· Address observations from regulatory inspections and audits
Rehabilitation & Resettlement (R&R;) Management
(Implement effective R&R; programs in line with legal provisions and company policies)




· Oversee execution of resettlement sites and infrastructure development
· Engage with affected families to address grievances and expectations
- Monitor R&R; outcomes to ensure sustainability and compliance

Stakeholder & Community Relations
(Build and maintain positive relationships with local communities, authorities, and other stakeholders.)
· Conduct regular community engagement and awareness programs
· Coordinate with local administration, panchayats, and opinion leaders
· Anticipate and mitigate potential conflicts or resistance
· Support CSR initiatives linked to community development
Land Records & Documentation Management
(Maintain accurate, updated, and secure land records for all acquired and proposed land.)
