Description
The Android Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining high-quality Android applications that deliver secure, scalable and high-performance mobile solutions. The position is accountable for developing modern Android applications using industry best practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring application quality, reliability and maintainability throughout the software development lifecycle. Success is measured through code quality, application performance, timely feature delivery, defect resolution, adherence to development standards and user satisfaction. The role creates value by delivering creative mobile solutions, optimizing application performance and contributing to the continuous improvement of Android development practices.

Responsibilities
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin while ensuring compliance with established coding standards, architecture guidelines and software engineering best practices.
- Develop scalable, maintainable,



and responsive mobile applications using modern Android technologies, including Jetpack Compose, while supporting existing XML-based user interfaces where required.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, Backend Developers, QA Engineers and other cross-functional stakeholders to design, develop and deliver new application features and enhancements.
- Develop clean, reusable and maintainable code by implementing MVVM, Clean Architecture, Android Jetpack components, dependency injections and established design patterns.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, sockets, and third-party SDKs while ensuring secure, reliable and efficient communication between mobile applications and backend services.
- Optimize application performance, memory utilization, battery consumption and overall user experience by identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, crashes, ANRs and stability issues.
