Sanofi Business Services (SBS), one of the 4 pillars of Sanofi’s Business Transformation organization, is setting up a captive Business Services center in Budapest to provide Finance & Accounting (Account-to-Report, Customer-Invoicing-to-Cash) as well as Employee oriented (Employee Experience) services. With respect to Account to Report (A2R) the Business Services center will be covering the following areas of the process:
- Assets Management
- Tax Accounting
- Intercompany Accounting
- Treasury Accounting
- GL Accounts Closing and Reporting

We are seeking a energetic and accountable professional to join our A2R Fixed Assets team. This role goes beyond transactional processing and requires strong ownership, leadership, and strategic thinking to manage the fixed assets lifecycle and contribute to broader finance transformation initiatives.

Main responsibilities:
- Own and manage the end-to-end fixed assets accounting process in SAP. Ensure accurate asset capitalization, transfers, disposals,



and depreciation Run.
- Monitor and process monthly depreciation runs.
- Reconcile fixed assets sub-ledger with general ledger.
- Lead and support month-end and year-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting.
- Contribute to transition planning, knowledge sharing, and backup resource training.
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency using tools like SAP and Blackline.

About you
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in fixed assets accounting or general ledger.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in SAP (especially Asset Accounting module). Strong Excel skills: experience with Blackline is a plus. Good understanding of IFRS/GAAP accounting principles. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently, take ownership, and contribute to strategic initiatives.
