Qualification
Hotel Management / Catering Certificate, Diploma, or Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) with a keen interest in hospitality operations.
Qualified Experience
(0–1 years of entry-level training or basic internship in hospital hospitality or hotel services).
Role Purpose
To undergo foundational training in food & beverage handling and hospitality services, assisting senior stewards in serving patients and guests while maintaining strict hygiene, presentation, and standard operating protocols.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist in the accurate assembly, checking, and timely delivery of food and beverage trays to patient rooms and guest dining areas.
· Clear used trays, dishes, and utensils from patient rooms and ensure their safe transfer back to the main cleaning area.
· Maintain complete cleanliness, sanitation, and correct storage of all service gear, trays, and pantry equipment.




· Ensure strict adherence to dietary specifications and special instructions provided by the clinical nutrition and dietary departments.
· Assist in setting up dining tables, service stations, and catering setups for internal hospital events or meetings.
· Greet patients and attendants with a warm, polite demeanor, escalating specific dietary requests or issues to the senior supervisor.
· Follow all healthcare hospitality protocols, personal grooming benchmarks, and infection control standards during service.
