Your Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a matrixed regional team, including direct reports and functional (dotted‑line) team members aligned to global security engineering, architecture, and operations teams; provide prioritization, coaching, performance input, and regional coordination.
- Serve as the primary Architecture and Engineering cybersecurity point of contact for regional business leaders and IT/OT stakeholders.
- Partner with global functional leaders to ensure cybersecurity initiatives are implemented effectively within the region, coordinating priorities and delivery across matrixed and dotted‑line teams.
- Develop a plan, gain approval, and Support regional response activities needed for the Architecture and Engineering function, including incident, change, and request processes ensuring timely coordination with proper stakeholders.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively across region, ensuring teams are staffed based on business and function priorities.
- Actively collaborate with the Director of Architecture and Engineering, Architects, Leads, and manager, to ensure consistency in global, and regional priorities, standards, policies, controls, and strategies.
- Collaborate with the Director of Information Security Architecture and Engineering to report overall health, strategic priorities, and challenges to the Director monthly.
- Influence the strategic and tactical direction of the Architecture and Engineering regional voice in global discussions.
- Build robust relationships with business and IT/OT leaders to understand regional needs and drive adoption of security initiatives
- Coordinate and monitor the execution of cybersecurity activities, tracking the progress of initiatives, projects, and compliance within the region.
- Support regional incident response and provide support for high-priority, business-critical incidents in EU/US regions,



which may require extended or non-standard hours.

Your Profile:

- Bachelor’s degree in information security, related fields, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Information Security or IT risk management, including experience with defense-in-depth techniques and leadership responsibilities.
- 3+ years in an information technology supervisory role.
- Effective to Expert level of communicative competence. Ability to maintain technical precision while presenting to non-technical stakeholders, your skill in 'swarming' incidents through active listening and role-clarity, and your history of reducing project ambiguity through Bottom-Line-Up-Front (BLUF) reporting.
- Practical experience and strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
- Current holder of relevant industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Experience transitioning teams from manual, to automated, risk-based approval workflows and CI/CD integrated governance.
- Expertise in ITIL 4 or COBIT frameworks, with a specific focus on adapting these to Agile and DevOps culture.
- Practical experience with Network Security, Identity and Access Security, Security Operations and Detection, Vulnerability Management, Application Security.
- Ability to stay informed on emerging solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
- Ability to coordinate across global teams, collaborate effectively in a culturally diverse workforce, and influence without direct authority.
- Expected to perform on-call duties and work occasional nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Must complete projects within specified deadlines and possess a keen sense of professionalism and ethics.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams in a matrixed or hybrid management model, including influencing priorities and outcomes across dotted‑line reporting relationships.
- Occasional travel may be required
