We are hiring an experienced Sous Chef – Indian Cuisine to join a professional kitchen team in Kuwait. The role involves assisting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, preparing authentic Indian dishes, and maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and consistency across all food offerings.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and food production
• Prepare and cook authentic Indian cuisine including North Indian, South Indian, Tandoor, Curries, Biryani, and Gravies
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of all Indian menu items
• Supervise, train, and guide kitchen staff, commis chefs, and helpers
• Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards (HACCP)
• Support menu planning, recipe standardization, and development of new dishes
• Ensure proper storage of ingredients and follow FIFO stock rotation
• Take responsibility for kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef
Salary:192000 INR Per Month
Requirements
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge and hands-on expertise in Indian cuisine
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environments
• Positive communication and teamwork skills
• Physically fit and able to work long hours when required
• Age limit: Below 35 years
