We’re looking for a seasoned Lead Java Engineer who can drive the design, development, optimization, and long-term reliability of large-scale applications. You’ll be responsible for shaping system architecture, ensuring efficient and accurate data processing, and guiding technical direction across the stack. This role offers the chance to work with modern technologies, including Java, UI5, and related tooling, in a fast-moving engineering environment.
What you'll bring :
- Operate within the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP),
leveraging its multi-cloud foundation to deliver solutions that run across major public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud) and private environments.
- Collaborate closely with product teams to design and implement new features, while supporting the BTP Fabric team in deploying and operating them on the platform.
- Contribute directly to building high-quality, reusable, and scalable cloud services, and actively share technical expertise across the team.
- Drive the design and development of cloud-based capabilities and enhancements for products and solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, enforcing strong engineering standards across Java development and DevOps practices.
- LLM integration and basic RAG workflows, including prompt management and response validation, are part of your core work
