Senior Test Engineer
Location: Hyderabad Work Arrangement: Hybrid | 3 Days in Office, 2 Days Remote
About the Role
The Senior Test Engineer is responsible for writing code and test scripts, identifying tools for functional and non-functional tests, and contributing to the OnBase automated test frameworks to ensure the delivery of high-quality software and products. This role designs test plans, test procedures, and code/scripts to accurately assess the functionality of OnBase products related to Government, Financial Services, and Cross-Industry — ensuring products are developed in accordance with product requirements and department quality standards.
The Senior Test Engineer collaborates with engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, and software modifications, while contributing to the establishment, use, and ongoing maintenance of the build pipeline.
Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do.
- Develop and maintain complex integration, functional,



and non-functional tests and automated test frameworks across teams to ensure the holistic quality of OnBase software across Government, Financial Services, and Cross-Industry products.
- Lead and maintain the implementation of the delivery pipeline, including test automation frameworks, build environments, test environments, and security.
- Lead the verification of system functionality by executing complex automated and manual tests, analyzing results, and providing recommendations; create and manage performance metrics, defects/enhancements, test cases, and test results.
- Operate as a trusted advisor on issues and trends; provide general consulting services leveraging expertise and best practice knowledge; identify and implement better test tools and automation methodologies.
- Influence and lead on team standards, processes, and events including planning, work estimation, peer reviews, and test design; assess the business value
