Role

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with a strong software development and Data Engineering background, along with a deep understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies. The ideal candidate should have prior experience as a software developer or data engineer, proficiency in one or more programming languages, and hands-on exposure to data engineering, data platforms, ETL/ELT, and software delivery processes. This is a leadership role that requires a strong combination of technical expertise, data engineering knowledge, and project management skills to drive successful delivery of complex technical projects.

What You Will Do:
Lead and manage cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality software and

data engineering projects .
Serve as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating business requirements into effective technical and

data solutions .
Own the

Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

and project delivery lifecycle, ensuring Agile and Scrum best practices are followed.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and demos.
Identify and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and proactively resolve project issues and conflicts.
Oversee task breakdowns, sprint tracking, effort estimation, resource planning, and project timelines.
Collaborate with

Data Engineers, Developers, Architects, and Product teams

to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.
Drive projects involving

data engineering, ETL/ELT pipelines, data platforms,



data warehouses, and data modernization initiatives .
Monitor engineering and project progress using

JIRA or equivalent Agile project management tools .
Ensure effective integration of

DevOps practices, data quality, testing strategies, deployment, and release management .

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field .
8–15 years of experience , with at least

4 years in a Technical Project Manager, Project Manager, or Scrum Master role , along with prior experience in software development or data engineering.
Strong technical background in

Data Engineering , with experience in one or more technologies such as

ETL/ELT, SQL, Python, Data Warehousing, Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, or similar platforms .
Strong understanding of

software development, data engineering, system architecture, APIs, and development pipelines .
Hands-on exposure to

data engineering projects, data platforms, data migration, or data modernization

is highly preferred.
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification is mandatory.
Proficiency with project management tools such as

JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or Azure DevOps .
Solid understanding of

Agile/Scrum methodologies, SDLC, project planning, risk management, and delivery management .
Strong stakeholder communication, team leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Exposure to

AI/ML or Generative AI projects

is an added advantage.
